In the course of the World Conference of Research Integrity 2026 GATE published the Data Brief. The brief presents first descriptive findings from the Open Science Learning GATE's 2025 data collection. Drawing on two elicitation contexts — the GATE Service and GATE Solution Sessions — it offers structured insights into how Open Science is currently conceptualised, taught, and implemented across educational, research, policy, and communication contexts.
Rather than a final synthesis, the Data Brief is an intermediate, transparent step in the broader GATE workflow: it makes initial data and emerging patterns accessible to invite community reflection and further contribution. It lays the foundation for the full GATE Report 2025.
